Organizing with Lilly

I've decided I need to be more organized.
I made this decision the minute I saw the new, elephant-covered Lilly Pulitzer agenda books for August 2013 - December 2014.

I just had to have it... and justified its purchase by swearing to actually use it daily as a planner.
And although it's now September, and I'm a month behind, my organization starts NOW.

I think my challenge is going to be writing everything down. Even when I was in school and had a planner to keep track of assignments, tests, sorority events, trips, holidays, etc. I still was flake-y with what I made note of. Instead, I always had a mental list running - which surprisingly never seemed to fail me.

I'm up for the challenge though.

But first, a little look-see at all the fun and adorable stuff inside.
*Yes I am aware that I am no longer a child. And yes, I find this planner and its contents amazing*

For starters... stickers. Perfect for the various events and occasions throughout the year.
My favorite are the "Me Day" ones.

Horoscopes:

According to mine, I'm quite the party go-er and throw-er!

Good thing I have designated places to jot down dates to celebrate and party planning notes.

And if I ever find myself party-planning-stumped, there's also a cheat sheet.

There's a pretty big "notes" section as well, separated by its own tab, and of course cutely decorated on each page.

Now it wouldn't be a planner without the actual calendar/day-to-day sections.
But it also wouldn't be a Lilly planner without making it whimsical and fun.

Apparently we're "Feelin' Foxy" in September!

I'll post each month's cover page as the months go by - cause they're just too cute to not share.

Now, I think it's time I actually write in it.
Here's to getting organized for the last of 2013 and all of 2014!

Ugh... did I really just type 2014? Where is the time going!?
