You know, the one where you would have to choose: the person you'd want with you, the only clothing you'd bring to wear, the only book you'd have to read, or movie you'd have to watch, etc.
The point of the "game" being that you have to choose what you think you could live without, while also choosing what you think you could live with forever, day after day.
Well when I play the game, and come across the scenario of If I was stranded on a desert island with only one type of food...
I automatically think sushi.
It's light yet filling, flavorful, healthy, can be made and eaten various ways, and one of my favorite foods.
The best spot around town to grab a bite of the stuff, is Oishii.
*Fun Fact: "Oishii" in Japanese means tasty and/or delicious.
Looking to have a substantial yet not too heavy meal, some apps and rolls were what we were craving.
We sunk ourselves into a corner table and meandered over the menu.
They have a wide range of items, which include: soups, salads, hot and cold appetizers, cooked entrees, udon noodle dishes, and of course sushi.
Lemon ice water and hot green tea were brought over, and not long after we placed our order.
as well as steamed shumai (shrimp dumplings) with a scallion-ginger-soy sauce.
And for our main course, we ordered a rainbow maki, spicy tuna maki, and shrimp tempura maki roll.
Or should I say...
Oishii. Oishii. and Oishii.
Just throw in some chocolate and plop me on a desert island. I think I'd happily make do.
What would you take to your stranded island?
